In December, 2011 NRLT purchased 36 acres of property to partner with Redwood Community Action Agency’s Natural Resource Services Division and the California State Coastal Conservancy  in the Martin Slough Enhancement Project, a two-phase fish passage improvement, wetland enhancement, and flood reduction project on the south side of Eureka.
