Whether it’s your first time to Freshwater Farms Reserve or your thousandth, join us Saturday, January 25th for a Winter Walk on the Nature Trail! Connect with local landscapes, community, and yourself at this beautiful coastal property. Families and friends of all ages welcome.
Dress in layers, the mornings have been quite cold, with frost melting into a warm, sunny afternoon. The Freshwater Farms Reserve Nature Trail is a fairly flat, 0.75 mile out-and-back trail which follows along Freshwater Slough and leads to a platform overlook of the Wood Creek Phase I restoration area.
Meet at the Red Roof Barn (a short walk from the gravel parking lot) at 10am and be ready to walk the trail by 10:20. Enjoy a casual stroll along the slough, with a few stops along the way! Come curious, or with your own knowledge to share. Coffee, tea, & snacks will be provided.
