Join Planwest Partners, Inc. and the Northcoast Regional Land Trust to celebrate the American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day!

You don’t have to go it alone! National Trails Day provides the perfect opportunity to set off on a local trail with others in your community. Join the nationwide movement to give back to trails and build a world where everyone feels welcome and has access to enjoy the great outdoors.

For this event, we’ll explore Freshwater Farms Reserve together, learn about the site’s history, and take in flora and fauna on a group hike of the nature trail! This is a 1.5-mile round-trip hike over relatively flat terrain, perfect for all ages. After the hike, we’ll give back to our community by tackling invasive vegetation, keeping it clear of the trail, and improving the habitat for local wildlife.

For the trail stewardship portion of this event, all tools and gloves will be provided, along with any training needed! Come away with a renewed appreciation for the outdoors and even learn some skills. You may have a green thumb and not even know it!

Don’t forget; we’ll have FREE Los Bagels (gluten-free options, too!) and Kinetic Koffee to keep you going.
