Join the Humboldt Trails Council, NRLT, and other local organizations for the 2026 Humboldt Trails Summit, a day dedicated to connecting with the people, projects, and places shaping the future of trails in our region. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about current and upcoming local trail initiatives, hear from community partners, and explore ways to support outdoor access and stewardship throughout Humboldt County.
As part of the Summit, participants can also join a special field trip to Freshwater Farms Reserve featuring a guided tour of the Nature Trail and the Wood Creek Phase III Restoration Project. Explore ongoing restoration efforts, learn about habitat enhancement and watershed health, and experience firsthand how conservation and recreation come together on the landscape.
